A grey base, solid and stored for over a year now. Orientate this carefull to get rid of some ugly potch and cut a very firey gem- reds, greens, and blues, a touch of yellow. The orientation works perfectly to do both! 3.6 gram.

A georgeous piece of crystal opal. I try to give everyone a chance to work a bit of this, and here is a golden opportunity. The fire and shape are excellent- there are no problem areas- cut and treasure!

Gotta love this crystal. This is a nice piece with some thin matrix on the back which should all cut away. Predominent blues and greens with a nice orange area that should peek through in the finished gem. This one requires some cutting skill for maximum recovery.
11.5 carats, 20x 4.2x 5.2mm
